One thing I absolutely love about the 30 y/o boomer meme is his smile. It’s a content smile, but at the same time hides the pain of past memories, friends that have come and gone. A tired smile.
It’s the smile of someone who would look off into the sunset while being Thanos snapped during the rapture.

it’s because after having so many crisis, so many ends of the world, so much strife, you become numb to it. But it’s a good numb. You know no matter how bad it gets, it’s not going to stay like that forever, just like the last times it got better. So look to the past, look to the future, no matter where you look, it’s so bright you need shades.
