Hey guys?
Wasn’t editing the “dogcheck” value in Undertale something that you needed to do in order to access one of the hidden Gaster rooms?

This room specifically?
Whelp, a drunk guy tried walking into my house at 1 in the morning and had to get the cops down here to arrest him. Wouldn’t stop trying to enter through all the doors screaming that he lived here.
Life ain’t easy these days, isn’t it?

Cannot stop listening to Field of Hopes and Dreams it’s like walking through a cheery jazzy wonderland with your best friends 😀

In terms of Deltarune and Gaster, I suppose the grand lession is that everyone’s lives are pre determined…with a certain someone as an exception…
You as the player wouldn’t even know if their own lives were predetermined, or preprogrammed, you lack any sort of foreknowledge, every choice you get has one answer that you will always inevitably go for. Heck, replaying the game to do something else? That too is no exception!
But…
You can be free to choose…if you don’t exist, not to anyone, not to anything. Like how particles remain in two states at once, only being determined by fate when observed. If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? Hell, did that tree even really fall, let alone exist? Uncertainty, and chaos, being nothing…
Gaster is the only one who is exempt from the game’s motto of how it’s impossible to change fate, that our choses are without meaning.
I guess that’s why you never encounter him, at least how he is now, only hints, rumors, and uncertainties.
But no solid conclusive being
Hell
He isn’t really part of any timeline
It’s all of them
Maybe more, and even where there are none
To be truly undetermined by fate.
