I swear for the life of me I can’t find him in the second one. But I feel he’s there, I just feel it
So a thing you can do in this situation is go into Photoshop and have it live compare two images. Example:
Top Layer was the original, second layer was the one in question, and third is them subtracted and you can see his shirt pop out against the black.
But this one…
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Those two images are EXACTLY the same but I can feel him there. He’s got to be there
The thing about him is that he isn’t just a person, he’s an atmosphere of dread
Take the second circle of hell as described in Dante’s Inferno, which doesn’t seem to contain any specific demon, merely a constant feeling of dread and corruption. At first we’d assume the demons to be absent from this plane, but upon further thought it becomes clear that what was thought to be the backdrop of this scene -the pervasive dread and corruption- is actually the demon. Same principle, even if he isn’t there in physical form, he’s still present.
